3. Essential vs Non-Essential Cookies
Most cookies used by AskDirect are essential for the service to function (authentication, security, payments) and do not require consent. We also offer two optional cookie categories, both off by default until you choose: Analytics (PostHog, to understand product usage) and Advertising (Google Ads / Analytics, to measure and improve ad performance). You can accept, decline, or change either category at any time in the cookie banner without losing access to the service.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies are set by third-party services we use: Supabase (authentication), Stripe (payment security), PostHog (analytics, only with your consent), and Google Ads / Google Analytics (advertising measurement, only with your consent). These parties have their own cookie and privacy policies.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent you from logging in or using paid features. To delete cookies, use your browser's clear history or privacy settings.
